Green Fees at Brocket Hall
Brocket Hall Golf Club has announced its promotional green fees for 2010. One of the finest and most exclusive golf clubs in the United Kingdom, Brocket Hall Golf Club is a golfer's dream and a unique and private refuge from a hectic world.
The courses themselves are both of Championship standard and meet USGA guidelines.
The Melbourne Course opened in 1991, designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark to follow the natural undulations and contours of the 18th Century parkland. Set against the backdrop of Brocket Hall itself, the course crosses the River Lea several times, with the final hole requiring golfers to be carried across the Broadwater Lake by ferry.
Throughout the Estate's woodland lies the Palmerston Course, a challenging Par 73 designed by Donald Steel. Rare Hornbeam, Scots and Corsican Pine together with 300 year old Oak Trees create some spectacular hazards as the course wends its way through mature woodland.
