Palmerston Boracay Island, Philippines

Boracay is an idyllic tropical island located 315 kilometres south of Manila. It is one of Asia's most popular tourist destinations with white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Motor cars are not permitted on the island, except hotel transport.

Boracay is a year round beach resort for high-end domestic and international vacationers, seeking sun and fun in a cosmopolitan island setting. The island offers a broad range of water sport activities. The Palmerston Boracay Resort is located adjacent to a world class 18-hole par 72 golf course designed by Graham Marsh and is available to Palmerston guests.

Phase I of the luxury resort is scheduled to open in 2013 and will consist of 516 units, including:

• Palmerston Beach Club - 200 room condo-hotel
• Palmerston Place - 241 luxury rooms and suites
• Royal Palmerston Hotel - 66 suites and 9 luxury villas
• A piazza with extensive dining and shopping facilities
• Meeting rooms and resort activities centre

Phase II expansion will feature the Palmerston Ocean Residence Club with spacious apartments for long-term stay in addition to 17 villas for sale and a medical spa.

The exclusive beach of the Palmerston Resort has no public access. With the exception of the Royal Palmerston Hotel, all hotel rooms and suites and villas are to be sold. Palmerston will retain ownership of the public space and all dining and recreational facilities.

Buyers of the hotel suites and apartments will pool their properties which will be managed by Palmerston as an integrated up-market holiday resort. Palmerston is the co-developer and long-term operator.
